This rum is made using the traditional fermentation and distillation process that has been used in the Caribbean for hundreds of years. The process starts with Fair Trade Certified sugar cane from Belize and ends in your glass with a fine tasting rum.
The sugar cane is grown using organic and sustainable farming methods on small farm plots. Each stalk is carefully hand harvested to maximize the yield and protect the land. The farmers are part of the Belize Sugar Cane Farmers Association (BSCFA). It is a single-cask rum, aged for 10 years in American Bourbon barrels, making it smooth and dry on the palate with rich notes of cloves and spicy complexity.
Only 1,500 bottles of the 10-year-old Fair Rum have been released.
